The first of three movements in a series of classical pieces all played on one monophonic and small retro machine. The Korg MS20 was their version of the famous and more expensive Mini-Moog. The pieces were played completely using the one synthesiser and, for full retro effect, bounced from channel to channel using a simple stereo Revox reel to reel quarter inch tape recorder. Played with no click track and by a human with no quantisation, the pieces are evocative of a time and place and perfectly placed in animation or some other playful pursuit.
