Daniel Peter Bilbrough
Dan Bilbrough is an experienced drummer, percussionist and composer. His music has featured on hit show 'Top Gear', Channel 4's 'How To Paint The Mona Lisa', BBC News 24, Amazon Prime's 'The Grand Tour' and more. Dan has also composed soundtracks for short films, dance performance One%' performed at Breakin Convention 2020 Sadlers Wells and theatre which have included the trailer for 2017 BAFTA nominated film 'Mouth Of Hell' and play ‘Custody’ directed by BAFTA award winner Gbemisola Ikumelo which received 5 star reviews and a UK tour. His own projects have received radio play on stations such as Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Soho Radio, Capital Xtra and Worldwide FM. Dan has played live on the BBC, performed and/or recorded for the likes of Brit Award nominee Beth Rowley (BBC 6 Album of The Day), Vanessa Freeman, Sheldon Bangera, Tracey Campbell and the All Souls Orchestra as well as with top musicians such as Raul D'Oliveira (trumpeter for Sting, Elton John, Gloria Gaynor), Steve Gregory (Sax player for George Michael's "Careless Whisper"), Dave Cooke (Producer for Cliff Richard and Helen Shapiro) Dave Markee (Eric Clapton's former bass player) and regular fixture for The Nelson Brothers and Wilderthorn. He has performed at some of the U.Ks finest venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Jazz Cafe, Brixton Academy and the Union Chapel as well as across Europe and Asia. Dan is currently studying to become a Sound Therapy practitioner playing instruments such as himalayan singing bowls, gongs and drums in therapeutic ways to help people improve their health and / or wellbeing.
